It is with great sadness to share the loss of George Netzel, who tragically passed away on December 15th, 2025. At only 19 years old, George’s sudden departure has left an overwhelming void in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the beloved son of Chris and Robin Netzel, and a devoted brother whose kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit touched all those fortunate enough to meet him.
George was a person who truly cared for others. His genuine interest in people and his ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated was remarkable. Whether through a kind word, a comforting gesture, or simply his calm presence, George had a way of bringing peace and understanding to those around him. He was a natural peacemaker, always stepping in to mediate conflicts and bring people together with his caring and compassionate nature. Even in the face of his own tragedy, George’s spirit of giving remains evident—through the gift of organ donation, he is now helping save the lives of others in need, a testament to his selfless character.
His passion for camaraderie and teamwork shone brightly on the wrestling mat. George was a dedicated and beloved member of his wrestling team, a brotherhood that he cherished deeply. His encouragement, resilience, and positive spirit served as a source of strength for his teammates, inspiring those around him to give their best and stay united through thick and thin. His presence in the wrestling community leaves a lasting legacy of friendship, dedication, and sportsmanship.
George’s future was filled with promise and potential. His bright smile, ambitious spirit, and caring heart hinted at a life full of achievements and meaningful connections. It is incredibly difficult to accept that such a promising young man is no longer with us, and his loss is deeply felt by family, friends, and the entire community.
To support George’s family during this heartbreaking time, we have created this GiveSendGo fund to help them navigate the financial and emotional challenges ahead. The funds raised will go toward funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and any unforeseen costs that may arise. Our hope is to ease their burden and provide some comfort as they grieve the loss of their beloved son and brother.
George’s legacy of kindness, love, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts. Though he is gone too soon, his spirit will continue to inspire us all to live with kindness and grace. GiveSendGo
